Abstract

This paper deals with a three phase matrix converter which has received considerable attention in recent years. The three phase matrix converter was designed in such a way to provide sinusoidal input current. The brushless DC motor used has trapezoidal back EMF and it was supplied with rectangular stator currents. The same has been simulated and results were analyzed.
