Abstract

The conference workshop, "Seeing Things Differently: a Hands-on Tour of Writing Through the Lens of Math," introduces participants to a new math-based writing system for engineers and other STEM professionals. This system, developed by the author/facilitator, provides technical professionals with an alternative perspective on engineering writing and a set of techniques for designing, building, and troubleshooting sentences and essential workplace documents.
