ON HISTORY OF BUDDHISM IN NORWAY: COOPERATION BETWEEN TRADITIONAL AND NON-TRADITIONAL BUDDHISTS

Abstract

The article examines some of the historical aspects of the development of Buddhist com-munities in Norway, the history and prospects for the development of Norwegian communities, analyzes the impact of conflicts between Buddhist movements abroad on cooperation between Buddhist communities, and provides a brief analysis of the unique system of interconfessional cooperation in Norway.
