Capping off the undergraduate degree in technical communication-some options

Abstract

Increasingly, undergraduate education programs are being charged with providing a "culminating experience" to all students in their programs as a condition of graduation. The culminating experience gives students an opportunity to synthesize material they may have learned in a range of courses and to apply what they have learned to a practical, "real world" problem. The opportunities available to students for this experience may vary widely from discipline to discipline, from school to school, and from one geographic area to another.
