The aim of the article is to define digitalization as the main concept of development of the aviation industry of the country, to increase the competitiveness of aircraft construction products in the conditions of the supra-industrial information age. Method. To solve this scientific problem used: structural method; comparative analysis; abstract-logical generalization. Results. The analysis and selection of digital solutions and cross-functional technologies at the stage of the life cycle of the aircraft, the relevance and need for further strengthening and implementation of information technology, which will determine the efficiency, quality of product life cycle management and contribute to cost optimization. Scientific novelty. The analysis and definition of digitalization of aircraft construction as a state - of - the - art concept of industry development in the conditions of supra - industrial information age is carried out. Practical significance.
