Abstract
A novel prototype of a medical instrument for clinical diagnosis and research applications has been developed and tested. The device measures the ocular counter roll of an eyeball with a high level of precision using a mechanical measurement method (for head roll), and employs machine vision analysis to measure eye roll with respect to facial features. The prototype was 3D printed using an Objet 260 Polyjet 3D printer and tested in laboratory conditions.
