This paper proposes an embedment of encrypted watermark in a JPEG image to address the issues of proprietorship of digital images. Amongst the cryptographic solutions, the most satisfactory cryptography method is Elliptic Curve Cryptography because of its small usage of bandwidth, low computational time and small key size. DWT and SVD are used as a scientific means to implant watermark in the image.
