A method for the self-tuning of fractional order controller (FOC) using fuzzy logic is introduced. Fuzzy auto-tune technique adjusts on-line integral order (λ) of STFFOPIλ controller to meet that system have different control parameters under different error. Time domain response of proposed controller is analysed and compared with two parameters (Kp and Ki) self-tuning fuzzy classical PI (STFCPI) controller. Disturbance rejection performance and robust stability feature are assessed by simulated examples. Result shows that the anti-interference capability as well as robustness of the proposed STFFOPIλ controller is better than the STFCPI controller.
