A survey on Wireless Sensor Network for Community Intrusion Detection Systems

Abstract

Wireless Sensor Networking has been proved one of the most potential technologies that have applications ranging from complex military to general housing systems. Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are easy to deploy and cheap in installation cost but have several security issues. Intrusion Detection Systems (IDSs) have emerged as efficient solutions to several security vulnerabilities. These IDSs can be used in resident areas or workplaces with WSNs. This paper is a comparative performance evaluation of four Community IDSs for WSNs.
