Analysis on the Legitimacy and Rationality of Shelter Education System

Abstract

The system of reception and education is an administrative compulsory measure especially for those who engage in prostitution and whoring. It refers to the special measures taken by the public security organs to conduct legal and moral compulsory education and organize production and labor for prostitutes who have not been investigated by the court. However, with the gradual progress of the society, the construction of the legal society and the deepening of the democratic concept, people have a dispute on its legitimacy and rationality. Whether it will be improved or go on the road of abolition has become a research focus by experts and scholars. This paper analyzes its legitimacy and rationality from two aspects: form and substance, and gives the author's point of view.
