Specialist Practice - A Relevant Learning Experience for Students

Abstract

Choosing an appropriate major is one of the most important factors for success in one’s future career. In this respect, students are often guided either by their interest in a particular field of work or by what is currently available on the labour market. Unfortunately, few students are interested in the specialist internship that can be a relevant learning experience for their future profession. The present research illustrates the opinion of students majoring in Pedagogy at the Petrol-Gaze University of Ploiesti towards specialized practice, according to their age and employment in the education system.
