Analysis of WeChat Application Strategy in Parent-Kindergarten Cooperation

Abstract

Parent-kindergarten cooperation is a very common and important form of education. With the progress of information technology, WeChat, as a new instant messaging tool, has many advantages, such as high initiative and fast information transmission, which is welcomed by the majority of parents. WeChat is another important parent-kindergarten cooperation platform and media tool in addition to the traditional parents’ meeting, parent-kindergarten contact handbook and parents’ school. How to play the important role of WeChat as a bridge in parent-kindergarten cooperation is of vital significance. In this paper, questionnaire survey is used to understand the current application situation of WeChat in the parent-kindergarten cooperation between two public kindergartens in Shapingba District of Chongqing, including 54 teachers and 248 parents, the existing problems are analyzed and summarized, and the corresponding feasible strategies are put forward.
