The Peabody III test allows to identify the level of vocabulary acquisition in a person, being necessary for a correct evaluation of the linguistic level developed by the individual. The linguistic development of a person influences the educational plan to follow during their formative years and impacts throughout their lives, for this reason the importance of the early application of the Peabody III test to detect any type of disability or outstanding attitude, and influence its correct institutional channeling. In Mexico, the staff of the Service and Support Units for Regular Education (USAER) of the Secretary of Public Education (SEP), are in charge of attending and channeling students with Special Educational Needs (NEE), being in charge of the Peabody III test application.
