Abstract

With increasing life expectancy of the population the age-related diseases also become more frequent and require special attention. Prolapse of pelvic organs (POP) is a common condition among elderly women, with a prevalence of 25 to 40% in multiparous women.1,2 Symptomatic patient will need some treatment because the anatomical damage causes self-image distortion, affecting their quality of life, and may also cause urinary and bowel disorders.3
