Abuse of children : A liturgy of lament

Abstract

Abstract This article offers a liturgy of lament as a prayer response to the crisis of abuse of children by priests in the Roman Catholic Church. It draws on the historical and biblical model of prayers of lament and emphasizes Jesus' love and care for children.
