Abstract

Car industry is moving fast and design optimization is becoming more and more important for manufacturers to be able to bring out their best products. After a part of the car is designed using 3D Modeling software, it will be delivered to finite element analysis (FEA) software to do simulation in order to understand if the model is ready for mass production or not. This is a persistence job because it requires a lot of attempts before presenting the most successful design. In this paper, we use a PILR (Pillar inner left right panel) model as the examined object for design optimization.
