Abstract
This article presents an analysis of the effect of three-dimensional orientation of the optical coherence tomography (OCT) scan on the correctness of determination of parameters describing the shape of the human eye retina. The issue of changes in orientation occurs mainly when the ophthalmologist compares the progression of lesions, and the OCT examinations were performed under different acquisition conditions. The authors investigated the impact of the acquisition on the correctness of fovea pit contour (FPC) determination. Experimental research was based on three-dimensional scans of healthy people for whom measurements were made with the use of Optopol REVO NX device.
