In this paper, an objective concept analysis was undertaken to examine the attributes, characteristics and uses of KM for the purpose of defining KM in the higher educational institution. Therefore, this paper aims at deriving a definition of the term knowledge management with the help of concept analysis which is a recognized method for the terminological studies. Abstract

Higher education institutions are frequently using knowledge management to achieve their mission. Due to COVID-19, education has moved to online, this has led to an increasing need for knowledge management and thus put under scrutiny to obtain the best results.
