Abstract
Due to the complexity of trucks and the various conditions they go through, balancing the execution of distribution tasks and maintenance tasks is a daily challenge. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to develop a perfect and imperfect preventive maintenance model with a focus on reducing the intensity of failure and a spare parts inventory management model that allows maintaining the availability of spare parts for maintenance actions that require it. These two models will help us to optimize the costs incurred within the maintenance management and increase the availability of the fleet by reducing the intensity of failure. The research allows us to conclude that the implementation of the proposed models within a distributor of still beverages successfully achieved an increase in fleet availability by 13.67% and an increase in the fill rate indicator by 97.33%.
