Abstract
Smart noise jamming of convolution modulation may get all or part of the pulse compression processing gain and raise the jamming power efficiency. It is proved that this kin of jamming has not only the blanketing effect of covering targets efficiently but also the deception effect of forming false targets intensively. In this paper, a new method of jamming on pulse radar is proposed based on the double effects of smart noise jamming. This new method combines conventional noise jamming with smart noise jamming. It eliminates processing gain of conventional nose jamming on pulse radar and reduces the probability of the threshold detection. Theoretical analysis, simulation and experiment results verify the validity and the effectiveness of the proposed jamming.
