The normative legal research method is carried out by examining mere literature or secondary data. The government policy to prevent the crime of trafficking in persons is the application of severe punishments for the perpetrators of a primary or traffickers who are cooperating in prosecution ie cooperation inter-government (G-to-G) between NGOs, community organizations and individuals inside and outside country, traffic controlling across Indonesia borders , the protection of victims by providing shelter in a safe place, repatriation (to the region of origin or to the country), including efforts to provide legal aid and counseling, rehabilitation (recovery-physical and psychological health) and reintegration (reunification to his family or community).
