However, the security, privacy, and trust problems with the Internet of Vehicles are significant. With the advent of blockchain technology, services can now be decentralised for increased security without needing responsible third parties. With blockchain, the risks of single points of failure and other attacks are reduced, as well as the advantages of immutability and trustworthiness. Abstract
