Distributed modular systems for DAQ and control applications

Abstract

A general information model of a multilevel data acquisition and control system architecture was proposed. A modern distributed modular system based on a compact industrial computer and Ethernet was discussed for control applications, which was oriented to distributed monitoring and control for energetic networks. Advanced modular systems with distributed memory architecture were proposed on the basis of PXI/cPCI compact modular systems and a scalable system area network architecture.
