Indeed, communicative competence is a set of knowledge about the language system and its units, their construction and functioning in speech, the methods of constructing thoughts in the target language and understanding others’ judgments, the national and cultural characteristics of native speakers of the target language, and the specifics of various types of discourses in teaching a foreign language; this is a language learner’s ability to communicate through multiple types of speech activity in line with the communicative tasks at hand, as well as to comprehend, interpret, and make coherent statements. Abstract

The paper examines the interactive methods of forming communicative competence of law students at Tashkent State University of Law. Indeed, communicative competence is a set of knowledge about the language system and its units, their construction and functioning in speech, the methods of constructing thoughts in the target language and understanding others’ judgments, the national and cultural characteristics of native speakers of the target language, and the specifics of various types of discourses in teaching a foreign language; this is a language learner’s ability to communicate through multiple types of speech activity in line with the communicative tasks at hand, as well as to comprehend, interpret, and make coherent statements.
