Strategic Planning as a Tool for Regional Development

Abstract

The article considers the strategic planning tool used in Russia to overcome the socio-economic inequality of the regions. The authors analyzed the regulatory framework governing the planning of regional development. The role of targeted programs in the development of Russian regions is determined.
