A prototype using DD coils and a current controlled SEPP inverter has been designed. Abstract

This paper focuses on a dynamic wireless power transferred electric scooter system using an electric double-layer capacitor (EDLC) unit. The newly developed motorcycle system is highly efficient, user friendly, and offers a solution to global environmental problems. Described is a newly developed EDLC scooter system with Dynamic Wireless Power Transfer (DWPT) as a next generation mobility concept for further diffusion of electric scooters.
