This research is quantitative research with the associative method. The population covered by this study were students of SMAN 1 Batam in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year who came from a population that was normally distributed and homogeneous, with one class being selected as the research sample. The data collection technique used a mathematical anxiety questionnaire and mathematical reasoning ability test questions based on PISA questions. Furthermore, the data obtained were analyzed using correlation analysis techniques and simple linear regression tests.
