The results showedthat 32.5%ofrespondents had an adequate knowledge and 72.1% of the subjects expressed the needfortrainingrst aid. There were signicant association between general knowledge andeducationlevel(OR=2.464; 95%CI=1.540-3.944) and had taken rst aid courses (OR=2.728; 95%CI=1.687- .412). The diৼerences between the factors of age (OR=0.977; 95%CI=0.962-0.993), occupation OR=1.918; 95%CI=1.135-3.242), and general knowledge (OR=2.043; 95%CI=1.201-3.473) ith the need forrst aid training were statistically signicant. Research has shown tat people's owledge aboutrst aid is quite limited, while the need for training is high.
