Abstract

This study delves into activity theory as a lens for explaining the goal of international students' adapting to and coping in their new educational environment using nostalgia and social media as tools. This study offers both scholarly and policy implications for the adaptation and coping of international students in New Zealand by presenting their ecosystem as an Activity System that relays their interaction with the tools, community, rules in their new environment
