NILAI FILSAFAT ETIKA DALAM TIGA LAGU DAERAH SUMATERA SELATAN

Abstract

Philosophy is a science that is closely related to human life. Ethical philosophy is the basis for humans to seek the truth and the nature of life. Regional songs have deep ethical philosophical values ​​as a provision for the lives of the younger generation. This study aims to discuss the value of ethical philosophy in three folk songs in South Sumatra, namely Dek Sangke, Cuk Mailang, and Sukat Malang. The results showed that there were values ​​of honesty, politeness and self-control, as well as empathy in the three songs.
