Progress toward a compact high performance coherent population trapping clock

Abstract

A compact CPT clock based on liquid crystal polarization rotator is implemented. In this studies, the polarization modulation frequency, laser power and the error signal modulation depth is investigated. This studies would lead the way to a high performance and compact CPT clock based on polarization modulation.
