Abstract

Nowadays, sensor networks application become more and more important. The improvements in mechanical systems (MEMS) and the complexity of data sensed such as images or videos have resulted in the development of wireless multimedia sensor network (WMSN). However, because of the main challenge in WSN is power management, several sensor platforms with processing unit and memory limitations are not adapted for complex application like multimedia.
