The performance of the four considered PTC strategies are evaluated through several simulation results at steady-state operation, with emphasis on various comparison criteria, such as: stator phase voltage and current waveforms, stator flux ripple, electromagnetic torque ripple, average total harmonic distortion, average switching frequency, average switching loss factor, and average quality factor. Abstract

This paper presents a comparative investigation of four predictive torque control (PTC) strategies for two-level three-phase inverter fed induction motor drives. Among the considered PTC strategies, three novel PTC schemes based on bus-clamping techniques are developed.
