In this work we investigated interference from user equipment (UE) to physical control channels between the two systems: LTE-FDD and TD-LTE. The results show that if the base stations of LTE-FDD and TD-LTE are placed together and they use the adjacent carriers, some of the physical control channels will experience severe adjacent channel interference and therefore unable to be demodulated correctly.
