METAPHOR OF THE ECONOMIC DISCOURSE IN THE LIGHT OF TEACHING RUSSIAN FOR FOREIGNERS: READING THE ECONOMIC NEWS TEXTS WITH FOREIGN LEARNERS

Abstract

In the article the main types of metaphors used in the news texts of the economic discourse are pointed out and analyzed. They are terminological metaphors and author's metaphors (which, in their turn, are divided into stable and creative metaphors). The difference between them is not evident for the reader. The material is considered from the point of view of linguodidactics: the authors suggest an algorithm of analyzing the economic news texts with advanced foreign learners.
