Abstract

Modern education currently faces important challenges worldwide, primarily dictated by the rapid changes in the economy. The need for change in Computer Science education in Romania, while also influenced by the global circumstances, is mainly driven by two categories of factors that are specific to our country's context: candidate-related and environment factors. This paper presents the main issues we have identified in these two categories and discuss potential solutions at two levels - individual (instructor side) and institutional. The proposed didactic measures are based on previous teaching experience, as well as contact with teaching methods used in a prominent technical university from abroad.
理解和应对计算机科学教育的变化
