Abstract

The EyeOn system focuses on the elderly who may suffer from undiagnosed cognitive conditions that can lead to potentially hazardous movement and behavioral patterns such as that of wandering behavior. The proposed work is intended to develop a method of diagnosing wandering behavior through use of human activity recognition. Attention was placed on activities related to wandering behavior which were recognized using Data Mining techniques on inertial sensory data retrieved from a MYO armband.
