Prerequisites for motivating achievements in rhythmic gymnastics

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to identify the prerequisites for the motivation of achievement in rhythmic gymnastics. To achieve the goal, methods of psychological diagnostics were used: questionnaires "Motivation to success" and "Motivation to avoid failures" by T. Ehlers, the questionnaire "Rational-experienced" by Epstein, diagnostics of emotional intelligence by N. Hall. The sample of subjects consisted of 40 athletes aged 15-21, masters of sports and candidates for masters of sports in rhythmic gymnastics. It was revealed that in the course of the study, differences in the relationships between personal resources of athletes of different qualifications were revealed. The candidates for the master of sports revealed a direct relationship between the motivation for success and emotional awareness, and the masters of sports added the management of their emotions and the use of intuition, which suggests that there is a relationship between the motivation of achievements and the expression of personal resources in gymnasts of different qualifications.
