Military Technical Developments in Hungary in the Frame of ZRINYI 2026 Program

Abstract

Accepting, that the security of citizens in every country is the main responsibility of the state, the Government of Hungary decided that it was no longer possible to postpone the modernization of defense and its main attribute, the Hungarian Defense Forces. The Zrinyi 2026 Home Defense and Military Force Development Program and the resources alongside make it possible for there to be tangible improvement in the capabilities of the Hungarian Defense Forces after a long delay. The authors of this paper present the most important points of this development process by focusing on the technical modernization elements.
