We select only those works that have a closer relationship with our object - analysis of the social representations of teachers in the Pedagogy Program of a public University in southwest Bahia on teaching in higher education. The purpose of this production is to reveal the objectives, the results and the relationship that the works found and chosen may have with each other. Abstract

This study presents the State of the Art in the research on knowledge, teaching, higher education and social representations.
