Decision Support System Model: Assessment Of Lecturer Performance In Teaching-Learning Process Using Analytical Hierarchy Process Method

Abstract

At Universitas Sangga Buana Bandung, an assessment of lecturer performance has carried out by distributing questionnaires to students at the end of each semester exam. In general, lecturer performance appraisal has not yet assessed overall performance in the teaching process because it has not used lecturer performance appraisal standards. Competency aspects need to assess pedagogical competence, professional competency, personality competency, and social competency. This study's method uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process method to support the analysis and design of decision support systems that aim to assess lecturers' performance according to specific criteria. This system maps the evaluation criteria of lecturer performance into a hierarchy, where each hierarchy will be a pairwise comparison between criteria so that a comparison of the relative importance between the criteria obtained. With the modeling utilizing Unified Modeling Language, this research also designs user interface modeling in the proposed application program going forward.
