The State as a Party to Action Proceedings under the Russian Law

Abstract

The article deals with the problem of correlation of the civil-legal status of the state as a subject of private law, with its procedural-legal status as a party to the action proceedings. It is shown that within the framework of private law relations the state realizes the public interest, changes to the current procedural legislation are proposed.
