The reason of HSER’s long-term failure is that the electromagnetic force and counter force provided by permanent magnet deteriorate under the effect of soft magnetic environment aging, the contact resistance increases, the temperature rises and then accelerates the failure cycle until HSER fails. According to IEC62506, the accelerated test system is established. Based on the virtual prototype model, the life prediction model is established under the support of test data. Abstract

Hermetical Seal Eletromagnetic Relay (HSER) is a kind of commonly used actuator in aerospace, aviation and industrial control systems.
