The types of slots used in the designing are the triangular slot and a circular slot. The triangular slots are present on the outer part of the antenna i.e. the radiating parts of the antenna and thus, this slots plays a major factor in the size reduction of the antenna. Even the circular slots are also made on the exponential part of the antenna which reduces the excessive mutual coupling. The cylindrical slot is used for the achievement of the different center frequencies so that this proposed antenna can be used for the wireless communication i.e. for WiMAX and WLAN amd HiperLAN applications. The bandwidth is also enhanced from the normal design of Vivaldi antenna to the miniaturized size of the vivaldi antenna. This modified antenna is working in the range of 3.4Ghz to 8.4 Ghz. The gain, return loss, radiation pattern is also shown in this paper. The increment in the range of frequency makes a single antenna usable for different application.
