Fast simulations of long-term coordinated voltage control

Abstract

This paper deals with the analysis of long-term coordinated voltage control. The simulations were performed through the use of a fast simulation tool. Several simulations are performed on a small tutorial illustrative system for easy understanding of the electrical phenomena and control strategies. Simulations are also carried out on a large-size model of the Brazilian system.
