The approaches to modeling the functioning of transport communication networks in the context of the implementation of network and computer attacks are considered. A comparative analysis of the results of the work and features of the description of the functioning of the network using the theory of Markov processes is carried out. A vector of further research has been formed, aimed at comparing semi-Markov models with models described by the method of topological transformation of stochastic networks with the GERT procedure.
