Abstract

To improve the life of hand-impaired people, we proposed a comprehensive design of a prosthetic hand. The design process includes the hardware design, EMG signal extraction and recognition, and a practical IoT-integrated controlling strategy, all of which secure the consistency and accuracy of the designated motions of the prosthetic hand. Eventually, the new strategy reduces the error rate and provides a more practical, thoughtful experience for the people in need.
