The model can control the quantity of the hypothesis which is built through the arithmetic by selecting a corresponding parsimonious principle. Abstract
The article mainly applies parsimonious covering theory for the reasoning of communication equipment fault diagnosis and puts forward a kind of arithmetic which is suitable to communication equipment fault diagnosis on the basis of the parsimonious covering theory. In addition, it establishes an applicable model for fault diagnosis.
