Reformulasi Konsep Tauhid: Studi Analisis Pemikiran Hassan Hanafi

Abstract

Tawhid is the most fundamental thing for followers of Islam. This is because monotheism plays a role in the lives of Muslims. However, at this time the monotheism believed by Muslims has brought about the stagnation of Islamic thought which is influenced by scholars who still base their beliefs on classical Islamic theology. This is what underlies Hassan Hanafi to renew the concept of monotheism so that it becomes monotheism that can respond to the challenges of the times and becomes an ideology for making changes. This study aims to discuss the formulation of monotheism, which was initiated by Hassan Hanafi. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a character study approach. The result of this research is that the formulation of monotheism initiated by Hassan Hanafi is an anthropocentric monotheism. He seeks to make monotheism an ideology that can solve social problems that have been experienced by Muslims and answer the challenges of the times. Hassan Hanafi also tried to formulate the concept of monotheism so as not to exclude monotheism from the problems of life economically, socially, and politically. He strives for monotheism to have implications in action and makes anthropocentric monotheism a solution to awaken the Islamic world.
