Frida Kahlo (Frida Kahlo, 1907-1954) is a famous female painter of Mexico in the 20th century and a pioneer of modern female artists. Her own experience is very legendary. "Self-Portrait Wearing a Thorns Necklace and Hummingbird" was created in 1940 and was created by Frida when her husband, Rivera (Diego Rivera, 1886-1957, a famous Mexican mural artist) proposed remarriage.
